Mawson Resources Ltd (TSX:MAW, PINKSHEETS:MWSNF, FRANKFURT:MXR) is a resource acquisition and development company with precious and base metal interests in Finland and Sweden.

The Company's flagship property is the Rompas-Rajapalot gold project in Finland. Maiden drill hole results from Rompas released in May 2012 comprised 6 metres at 617 g/t gold from 7 metres depth including 1 metre at 3,540g/t gold from 11 metres depth in drill hole ROM0011.

On October 29, 2012, Mawson released 52 grab samples from Rajapalot, located 8km from Rompas which averaged 152.8g/t gold and ranged from 0.001g/t to 2,817g/t gold fom 3 project areas spaced over many kilometres.

At this very early stage of exploration, Mawson has indications of a mineral system that has deposited high-grade gold within an area approaching 10km by 10km.
